Available Materials for FDM

We provide you with various choices of materials for 3D printing using FDM technology. All filaments used are of high-quality and sourced from reputable manufacturer.

  • High stiffness
  • Good detail
  • Very affordable

PLA

Polylactic acid (PLA) is mostly derived from renewable, organic sources such as corn starch or sugar cane. It is the most widely used plastic filament material in FDM 3D printing.

  • Good light diffusion
  • Good impact resistance and flexibility
  • Higher heat resistance than PLA

PETG

Polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PETG) is a thermoplastic polyester commonly used in single use and reusable drinking bottles, cooking oil containers, and FDA-compliant food storage containers.

  • High heat tolerance
  • Good impact resistance even at low temperature
  • Good abrasion and strain resistance

ABS

ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is used in many industries today because of its flexibility, moldability, and strength. It is a good choice for mechanical parts, robotics, functional prototyping or home appliance spare parts.

  • UV resistant
  • Weather resistant
  • Good thermal and mechanical properties

ASA

Acrylic Styrene Acrylonitrile (ASA), was developed as an alternative to ABS that would be more UV resistant. Commonly used in outdoor applications instead of ABS due to its superior resistance to UV and harsh weather conditions.

  • Flexible and elastic
  • UV resistant
  • High durability

TPU

Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) is a flexible and durable polymer often used in 3D printing. It combines the properties of plastic and rubber, making it suitable for creating objects that need elasticity, resilience, and impact resistance, such as phone cases and shoe soles.
